More About Me

I became a counsellor because I’m drawn to the complexity of the human experience — how we make sense of our lives, navigate challenges, and build connection with ourselves and others.

Before opening my practice, I spent over seven years in social services supporting people through significant life transitions and difficult moments. That work taught me something that continues to guide my approach to counselling: even when life feels overwhelming, stuck, or uncertain, people carry a remarkable capacity for resilience and growth.

Working with Me

My approach is relational, thoughtful, and practical. I pay attention not only to what is happening in your life right now, but also to the patterns, past experiences, and coping strategies that may be shaping how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others.

Together, we explore how these experiences connect and influence what you’re facing today. We identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, notice blind spots that are difficult to see on your own, and develop practical ways to respond differently.

The goal isn’t just insight, but meaningful change — helping you feel more grounded in yourself, more connected in your relationships, and more confident navigating life’s challenges. Whether you come as an individual or a couple, we begin where you are and move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.

Outside the Therapy Room

I recharge by slowing down and connecting with the people, places, and activities that fill my cup. This often looks like starting my day with matcha, spending time outdoors in the mountains, practicing yoga, being with chosen family, or enjoying live music. These moments ground me and shape how I show up in my work, reminding me of the importance of presence, balance, and connection.
